10km Walkathon in Ranchi

On the occasion of the 70th Wildlife Week, the Forest Department organized a 10 Km Walkathon event in Ranchi. A total of 120 NCC cadets participated, with 40 cadets each representing 2 Jharkhand Air Squadron, 3 Jharkhand Battalion, 3 Jharkhand Girls Battalion, and 19 Jharkhand Battalion. The event was coordinated by 2 Jharkhand Air Squadron NCC, who liaised with the Forest Department to ensure smooth execution. The Walkathon commenced from the Forest Department Office in Doranda and followed a route through Argora, Hatia Chowk, Birsa Chowk, and Hinoo Chowk, before returning to the starting point. Throughout the walk, cadets actively raised public awareness about wildlife conservation and environmental protection. They carried placards and banners with powerful slogans urging people to save wildlife and protect the environment.
